Directions

To reach the APH Park & Ride with EV Charging near Gatwick Airport, follow these directions from the M23 motorway:

From the M23 Junction 10 (East Grinstead exit):

  1. If you’re travelling southbound, take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A264 (Copthorne Way).
  2. If you’re travelling northbound, take the 3rd exit onto the A264 (Copthorne Way).

Continue as follows:

  1. Go straight over the first roundabout (take the 2nd exit).

  2. At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A2220, signposted Maidenbower.

  3. Follow the A2220, keeping an eye out for signs to APH Parking Centre.

  4. Drive past the Texaco Petrol Station – note that some SatNavs may try to direct you here.

  5. After approx. 0.25 miles, turn right into Crawley Garden Centre.

  6. Look for the APH entrance sign on your right.

  7. Follow the clearly marked APH signs to reach the car park check-in area.

Arrival instructions

When arriving at the APH Park & Ride with EV Charging near Gatwick Airport:

  1. Drive through the automated barrier - it will lift automatically as you approach.

  2. Follow the road markings to the arrival bays.

  3. Head to Reception to check in your vehicle.

  4. A trained and insured valet driver will charge your vehicle and move it to a secure parking bay.

  5. Take the next available transfer bus to Gatwick Airport terminal.

Important: You do not need to wait while your car is being charged, it will be fully charged and ready for your return. Please allow enough time to check in and take the shuttle to the terminal.

Return instructions

When returning from your trip via Gatwick Airport:

  1. After clearing Customs, follow signs to the APH transfer bus stop.

  2. Board the next available shuttle bus back to the APH Car Park.

  3. Head to Reception to collect your keys.

  4. Your vehicle will be fully charged and ready to drive away.

The car park is staffed 24/7, so help is always available if needed.

Important information

What types of vehicles are accepted?
APH Gatwick Park & Ride accepts any vehicle that fits into a standard parking bay and can be driven with a standard UK driving licence.
Maximum height limit: 2.4 metres
Trailers are not accepted.

What can I bring on the transfer shuttle?
Due to space and safety restrictions, APH coaches cannot transport the following:

  • Bicycles

  • Surfboards or windsurf boards

  • Other large items of similar size

Snowboards and skis are accepted.

Electric vehicles - what do I need to know?
If you are booking EV charging:

  • Your vehicle must arrive with at least 5% battery charge

  • You must bring and provide your own charging lead

  • Your vehicle will be charged only to the value you pre-purchase. This may not result in a full charge

Disabled facilities

APH Gatwick Park & Ride is equipped to support customers with additional needs:

  • Transfer buses include wheelchair access

  • Staff are happy to assist with luggage handling

  • On arrival, if you require assistance, press the help button at the entry barrier

  • At check-in, you may request for your vehicle to be parked near reception for easier access upon return

Transfer details

When using APH Gatwick Park & Ride, you’ll benefit from a fast and reliable transfer to both Gatwick terminals:

  1. Shuttles run every 10-15 minutes
  2. Journey time to the terminals is around 10-12 minutes
  3. Return shuttles operate from both North and South Terminals
  4. Both dual-terminal and dedicated terminal transfers are provided

Clear directions to the return pick-up points will be provided before your trip.

Vehicle restrictions

Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m. Trailers are not accepted.

The APH Gatwick car park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with staff on site at all times.

      • You can cancel or change your booking anytime before your parking period begins without any hassle or charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at the pre-booked arrival time you select during your reservation.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking before your arrival time, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
